Mr. Tan, or “ST” as commonly addressed,is no stranger to the airfreight handling industry – prior to Oman SATS LLC he had participated in the start-up and subsequently served as CEO in Hong Kong’s Asia Airfreight Terminal (AAT). He also assumed the role of General Manager in Beijing Aviation Ground Services (BGS) which handled 800 flight movements on a daily basis. With his rich experience and contacts with the international cargo network, ST’s role is to steer the company to provide better services to the industry in order to serve them better as well as serve the Sultanate in its role as a cargo terminal operator.
Mr. Rashid started his career in cargo operations since 1994, and in his many years of experience, has went through various portfolios in both Import and Export operations. Mr. Rashid is currently overseeing the whole of Export Operations, and his contribution will be critical to the Company’s initiatives to promote export cargo growth in Muscat International Airport.
Mr. Abdullah started his career in Human Resource since 2005, having worked for both government and private sectors, before joining Oman SATS LLC. His vast and extensive knowledge in the HR department will definitely be of valuable contribution to the Company in providing the best and comprehensive welfare for its employees.
Mr. Prashant has 25 years of experience in Financial Management including his 13 years’ service with Oman Air Finance Department. Bringing his comprehensive finance experience, he heads the Finance Department in Oman SATS LLC. Leading his team overlooking the financial management of the Company, implementing strategic plans ensuring company growth and effective fund control and assets management.
Mr. Khalil started his career in 2003, and over the years he has gained vast experience in different aspects of aviation operations, including Cargo operations, Cargo Administration and Project Management. He was part of the Oman Air Project Development team that managed new airports projects at Muscat, Salalah and Regional Airports.
Khalil joined Oman SATS LLC in Jun 2018 and his responsibilities include overseeing the Company’s service standards and delivery and providing support to operations, especially in the quality aspects of the Company’s products.
His extensive knowledge and experience is indeed useful to enhance the Company’s services standards and ultimately gearing up to meet and delight the customer’s expectations and experience with the Company.
Mr. Ahmed Al Bahri worked in leadership role for real estate development in Oman, then he joined Oman Air in 2010. He has experience in Air Cargo operations, administrative affairs and procurement. One of his biggest achievements is working with leadership team to prepare readiness for new Muscat international airport project.
Hestudied business administration, and nowworking as a Manager of administration and projects at Oman SATS.
Mr. Rashid Al Kharusi joined the company in the 1st of Jan1993. He was assigned in Import Operations and gradually developed his career until he became a Duty Supervisor. Over the years, he became an Officer and looked after cargo operations. As he isdedicated in his assigned duties, the company engaged him with developing the policy and stakeholder’s relationship.
His serenity in work assignments are invariably imbued with a sense of positive outcome. He is currently holding a position of Assistant Manager and he looks after the import delivery and cargo tracing unit which is a new challenge and milestones to his career.
Mr. Hamed Al Maani Joined Air Cargo industry in 1999 with Oman Aviation Services. Hestarted with Cargo Tracing and Claims departmentthen headed this team. He Led various sections in Import Cargo Operations including Delivery. He has implemented positive changes and approaches to improve efficiency and finding best ways to deliver the services to customers.
Mr. Ali Al Hashmi joined Air cargo industry in 2003 with Oman Aviation Services. He joined Import Operations as Cargo Agent then moved to Export Operations.After joining Export Acceptance, he was assigned as acting Duty Supervisor for more than 3 years and with many challenges he developed to be duty supervisor in Export Operations for more than 6 years. Along with that, he was perusing his studies in Business Management from Gulf College (2014-2018) and graduated with Bachelor degree (Honors). Now he isan Export cargo Assistant Manager andhas implemented positive changes and approaches to improve efficiency of operations.
Mr. Haitham started his career journey in the Air Cargo industry in 2009 as an Import Cargo Agent. After almost 13 years of dedication and hard work,he underwent and graduated from the National Leadership Program (Eitmad) which qualified him to become an Assistant Manager.He is currently leading the Import Reception and Documentation section where he was able to add value to his team and to the company.
